What’s your Venus?
Are you a Morning Star or an Evening Star Venus? Were you born during a Venus retrograde? Venus carries so many mysteries and unearths so many treasures. Following her cycles are extremely powerful in harnessing your inner beauty, what you need in relationships, how you’re happy in money making, and in everyday life balance.
If you’re not following the Venus Cycle, you may want to reconsider! It’s much like following the cycles of the Moon. Only with Venus there is some extra potent magic. Venus makes her full cycle in the well known 5 pointed Star. Roughly every year and a half, Venus touches down on 1 of those 5 points. Each year she moves closer to completing that star. In the process of this dance between the Sun and Venus, we get to experience the beautiful planet as both the Morning Star and the Evening, Star 5 times!
Many times when I look at birth charts and clock the chart backwards to the Venus Cycles, I find extremely coincidental alignments happening in relationships and in general well being, related to the exact times of these phases.
The current Venus cycle began March 25 2017 – at 4 degrees of Aries. Check out my post, marking that day, to see more about New Venus and right at the beginning of her current cycle. You might as yourself: What did I have going on around that time? You might even think: How have things have unfolded since then? The first star point of this cycle wrapped up when Venus went Retrograde on Oct 5 2018. As she retrogrades right now, and “traces back” over previously trodden territory – think of this as a gift and an opportunity to re-assess. What has worked and what hasn’t worked since the last new Venus? Just as with a new Moon, with a new Venus we set intentions, and plan out the next star point cycle.
One Star Point at a Time
On October 26, 2018, Venus touches down on her 2nd star point in this cycle. At 3 degrees of Scorpio, this is a perfect time to pull up your chart, and see where this is happening for you. What area of your life is Venus conjunct the Sun? This is an area of your life where it’s got to mean something, or it’s just not worth it. Scorpio wants substance, meaning, and purpose. What area is this for you that Venus has gone dark? Venus conjunct the Sun is said to have travelled to the depths of the darkness of our souls. It is said she goes down for the greatest challenge, only to emerge with the most amazing treasures. Take this opportunity to travel with her.
